24 Hour Salad


2 cups fruit cocktail, drained
2 cups diced pineapple, drained
2 oranges, cut in small pieces
2 cups small marshmallows

Dressing:
2 eggs beaten
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup whipping cream, whipped

Put eggs, vinegar, and sugar in
double boiler, over boiling water.
Beat till thick, and smooth.
Remove, add butter and cool.
Fold in whipped cream, fruit and
marshmallows, pour into dish,
garnish with maraschino cherries.
Chill 24 hours.
