GW's Barbecue Shrimp-New Orleans Style

2 lbs. Shrimp (preferably with heads) 2 sticks of butter 1 clove of garlic, chopped (or more) 1 tbs. Italian Herb Seasoning 1 tbs. Crushed Black Pepper 1 tbs. Ground Black Pepper 1 tbs. Paprika 2 Bay Leaves Preheat oven to 500F for about 20 minutes. Melt the butter. Sauté garlic in butter. Add all the spices to the hot butter. Put the shrimp, heads and all, in a roasting pan, pour the butter mixture all over the shrimp and stir to make sure they are all coated with the butter mixture. Put in the hot oven for 4 minutes, open the oven, stir the shrimp, and then close it. Leave in the oven for another 4 minutes. Serve with a crusty French bread to dip into the sauce.
