Amaretto Brownies


1/4 lb. Sweet butter
2 oz. Semi-sweet chocolate
2 Eggs, well beaten
3/4 c. Sugar
1/2 c. Flour
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/2 c. Almonds or pecans
1/4 c. Amaretto liquor
chocolate frost if desired

Preheat oven to 325F. Grease an 8" square pan.
Melt butter and chocolate in small saucepan;
set aside to cool. Stir in eggs.
Add remaining ingredients, except Amaretto, and mix well.
Bake 35 minutes; brownies should still be soft.
Cool. Poke with fork;
pour Amaretto over top of brownies.
Refrigerate overnight.
If desired, ice with favorite chocolate frosting,
or simply top with frozen yogurt when serving.
