8 chilled oranges (half sweet and
half tart), peeled, seeded
and thinly sliced
1/2 fresh coconut, grated
or 2 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. conf. sugar
Arrange single layer of orange slices
in cut-glass dish.
Sprinkle coconut over thickly.
Sprinkle lightly with sugar.
Repeat layers until dish is filled.
Drizzle lightly with orange liqueur.
Serve shortly after layering.
Makes 12-16 servings.
