For enough icing to frost and fill two 8 or 9" layers you will need:
½ c. butter
½ c. ripe bananas, mashed
3 ½ c. icing sugar
1 tbs. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla
Blend bananas and lemon juice.
Cream together bananas and butter.
Gently blend in icing sugar and vanilla.
Chill until spreading consistency.
