Barbecue


1 lb. beef (chuck or stew beef)
1 tbs. oil
1 medium onion
1/2 c. ketchup
1 tbs. prepared mustard
1/2 c. water
1/4 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. paprika
2 tbs. brown sugar
2 tbs. vinegar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Cook onion in oil, add ketchup, vinegar, mustard,
water, chili powder, paprika, brown sugar, salt and pepper
and simmer for 15 min.
Cover beef with water, add 4-5 bay leaves.
Simmer until it can be pulled apart with fork.
Serve on bun.
Pork or chicken can be used.
Can be frozen.

Note: I use chicken.
I cook the sauce in the crockpot,
add the chicken at the beginning,
and cook it on low for about 6 hours.
