Prepare cake as directed on box;
add 1 C of the pecans and bake. ,br> While cake is baking, prepare pudding and let chill.
After cake has cooled down, top with crushed pineapple,
then add pudding on top of pineapple.
Add the Cool Whip and sprinkle with remaining pecans.
