Blackberry Sauce

5 c. fresh blackberries 1 c. water 3/4 c. sugar 2 tbs. water 1 tbs. cornstarch 1 tbs. lemon juice angel food or sponge cake
Combine berries, 1 c. water and sugar in a large saucepan;
Serve sauce over angel food or sponge cake. Yield: 4 cups.
