3 c. boiling water
2 tbs. instant coffee granules
1 tbs. plus 1 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. brandy
1 pt. vanilla ice cream, softened
whipped cream (optional)
Combine water, coffee granules, and sugar,
stirring until sugar dissolves.
Stir in brandy.
Scoop ice cream evenly into coffee cups.
Fill cups with coffee mixture;
garnish with whipped cream if desired.
Yield: 6 serving.
