Brown Sugar Frosting

1/3 c. butter
1/2 c. firmly packed dark brown sugar
1 3/4 c. sifted conf. sugar
1 tbs. milk
In saucepan over moderate heat (about 250°), melt butter.
Stir in brown sugar and heat just long enough to blend
butter and sugar together to form a smooth mixture.
Remove from heat and beat in conf. sugar and milk.
Beat until frosting is of good spreading consistency.
1 c. frosting.
