Boiling Water Pie Crust


1/2 cup boiling water
1 cup shortening
3 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Add the boiling water to the shortening.
Beat until creamy and thick.
Sift flour, salt, and baking powder together
And stir into creamed mixture. Mix well and
refrigerate for several hours before rolling out.
