Cherry Cream Puddings


2 pkg. vanilla-flavor instant pudding
and pie filling for 4 servings
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 c. heavy or whipping cream
1 (21-oz) can cherry pie filling

About 20 min. before serving:
In large bowl, prepare pudding mixes
as labels direct, but prepare
both packages together using only
1 1/2 c. milk and add almond extract.
In small bowl, with mixer at
medium speed, beat heavy or whipping cream until soft peaks form.
With rubber spatula or wire whisk,
fold whipped cream into pudding.

Spoon about 1/2 c. pudding mixture
into each of 8 dessert bowls.
Top each with 1/4 c. cherry pie filling,
then remaining pudding mixture.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Makes 8 servings.
