Cheesette Cubes


8 oz. unsliced mozarella cheese
1 1/4 c. dry whole wheat bread crumbs (6 slices bread)
1/3 c. all purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten

Cut cheese into 40 strips, 1 1/2" long and 1/2" thick.
Coat each piece with flour. Dip in egg; roll in bread crumbs.
Dip again in egg and crumbs. Heat oil in fondue cooker to 375°
and fry each coated cheese stick in hot oil for 25=35 seconds.
Do not overcook. Transfer to dinner fork.
Serve with honey, jam or jelly.
