Cherry Crumb Pudding


2 c.drained cherries or any other fruit
1/3 c.shortening
1/2 c.brown sugar
3/4 c.sifted flour
1 ts.cinnamon
1/2 ts.nutmeg

Place in a well greased baking dish.
Cream shortening & brown sugar.
Add flour,spices & mix until a crumbly mixture is formed.
Sprinkle over cherries.Bake uncovered at 350 for 40 minutes.
Serve warm with cream. Serves 6.
