Chicken Curry India


3/4 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. diced celery
1/4 c. butter
1 tbs. curry powder
1 c. (l lb.) applesauce
1 tsp. garlic flavored MSG
3 cans (10 oz. each) cream of chicken soup
4 cans (5 oz. each) chicken

Saute onion and celery in butter until transparent.
Stir in curry powder and MSG. Simmer 2 min. more
Stir in soup, chicken and applesauce.
Simmer 5 min. more to blend flavors.
Serve hot over rice, or cool and refrigerate.

15 min. before serving, reheat on top of range;
fix precooked rice as package directs.

Serve with tomato, hard cooked egg, scallions. coconut.
