Chili Casserole


3 pounds ground beef
3 cups chopped onion
3 package chili seasoning mix
3 8 ounce cans tomato sauce
2 cups water
3 1 pound cans kidney beans, drained
1 3 3/4 ounce package small corn chips
3/4cup sliced pitted black olives
1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Prehet oven to 325°.
In large skillet, cook meat until
it loses its red color,
breaking up with fork.
Add onion, seasoning mix,
tomato sauce and water.
Stir, bring to boil, cover and
simmer for 15 minutes,
stirring several times to prevent sticking.
Add beans, corn chips and cheese.
Put into 4 quart buttered casserole
and bake 50 - 60 minutes.
Makes 12 servings.
