Cheese Popover Puffs
|
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
2 eggs
1 tbs. butter, melted
1/4 c. (1 oz) shreded Cheddar cheese
Combine first 5 ingredients.
Beat at medium speed of an
electric mixer until smooth.
Stir in cheese.
Heat a well-greased muffin pan at
425F for 3 min. or until very hot.
Spoon in batter, filling 2/3 full.
Bake at 425F for 15 min.;
reduce heat, bake at 350F for 25 min.
or until golden brown. Serve immediately.
Yield: 8 popovers.
