Cheese Roasted Potatoes


1 hour and 20 min. before:
Cut each potato from 4 baking potatoes, peeled,
crosswise into 4 thick slices, about 3/4 way through.
Place in greased baking dish; sprinkle with 1/4 tsp. salt.
Cover with foil; bake 55 min. at 400F.
Reduce oven temperature to 350F.
Place half slice cheese from 2 slices
American cheese over each potato.
Bake, uncovered, 15 min. or until tender.
Serves 4.
