Cranberry Pudding

2 eggs
1 c.granulated sugar
1/2 c.milk
3 tbs.butter,melted
1-1/2 c.sifted flour
1 ts.cream of tartar
1/2 ts.baking soda
1/2 ts.salt
2 c.cranberries
Beat eggs slightly. Add sugar,milk & melted butter,
then flour,cream of tartar,soda & salt sifted together.
Stir in cramberries.Turn into buttered baking dish.
Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.Serve hot with foamy sauce. Serves 6.
Foamy sauce:
3 tbs.butter
2/3 c.granulated sugar
2 eggs,seperated
2 tbs.milk
1 tbs.lemon juice
1/2 ts.vanilla
Cream the butter.Add the sugar gradually.
Then add well beaten egg yolks & milk.
Cook over hot water until thick,stirring constantly.
Add flavorings.Pour slowly over stiffly beaten egg whites;
beat throughly.Serve at once.
