Danish Brandied Coffee


6 eggs
very finely grated peel of one lemon
3 c. strong, cold coffee
1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. brandy

At serving time, in large bowl with mixer at high speed,
beat eggs and lemon peel until light and fluffy, 1 min.
Gradually sprinkle with sugar, beating until mixture is thick,
about 3 min. Reduce speed to low;
slowly beat in coffee, then brandy.
Serve in chilled glasses. 12 (4 oz.) servings.
