Debby Ficken's Strawberry Bread


1 c. butter
1 1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. lemon extract
4 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. strawberry jam
1 c. sour cream

Cream butter and sugar.
Add vanilla and lemon extract.
Beat in eggs, 1 at a time. Mix together flour,
salt, cream of tartar and baking soda.
Add dry ingredients alternately with strawberry jam
and sour cream to creamed mixture.
Pour into 3 greased loaf pans.
Bake at 350F for 50-55 min.
