Fig-Strawberry Preserves

3 c. mashed figs 3 c. sugar 1 large box strawberry jello Mash figs thoroughly. Mix Jello, sugar and figs. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Heat. Boil 3 min., stirring constantly. Place in hot sterilized jars and seal. Not sure how many jars this makes.
