2 c. sugar
1 tbs. cornstarch
3 c. crushed fresh fruit
(strawberries or peaches)
1 1/2 qt. milk
1 1/2 pt. whipping cream
2 eggs, beaten
2 tbs. vanilla
Combine sugar and cornstarch, mixing well.
Add fruit, and let stand until sugar is dissolved.
Stir often. Add milk, cream, eggs
and vanilla to fruit mixture; blend well.
Pour into freezer can; freeze.
Let ripen at least 1 hour.
Yield: 1 gallon.
