FRIED ZUCCHINI

1 lb zucchini
2 cups vegetable oil
1 cup flour
Salt and pepper to taste
1 can beer
Wash and scrub zucchini, dry well.
Cut lengthwise into 1/2" thick slices.
Dip slices in flour, then in beer
and drop into hot oil in a deep pan.
Fry 3 minutes, turning occasionally
until zucchini are crisp and brown.
Dry on paper towels,
sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Serve immediately.
