Grandma's Fruit Cobbler


DOUGH:
1 stick butter, melted
1 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
FILLING:
2 c. fresh fruit
1 1/2 c. sugar (or to taste)
1/2 c. water, if needed

Mix dough. Pour in pan.
Mix filling and pour on top of dough.
Do not stir. Bake at 400° for 30 minutes or until brown.
