Green Beans with Bacon

1 1/2 lbs. fresh green beans, trimmed
6 thick slices of bacon, chopped
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
Cook the beans in a large pan of lightly salted boiling water.
for 4-6 minutes or until just tender. Drain.
Fry the bacon in a skillet until crisp and golden.
Drain on paper towels.
Remove all but 1 tsp. bacon drippings from the skillet.
Add the beans, bacon, salt and pepper, mix well.
