Hamburger Cheese Rolls

1 1/2 lb. ground round
2 tsp. onion flakes
1/4 c. finely chopped green pepper
dash of garlic powder
1/4 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1 egg, slightly beaten
6 American cheese slices
Toasted hot dog rolls

In large mixing bowl, combine first 6 ingredients
and mix well. Stir in egg and divide in 6 equal portions.
Shape each portion in 4" square on piece of waxed paper.
Put one cheese slice on each meat square.
Roll up, jelly roll fashion, and seal edges and ends to
completely cover cheese (shape will resemble a frankfurter).
In heavy skillet, heat a small amount of fat and
saute meat rolls over medium heat until done.
Or broil, turning occasionally, 7-8 min.
Serve in frankfurter rolls. Serves 6.
