Hash Brown Potato Casserole


2 lb. frozen hash browns, thawed
1/4 c. melted butter
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. onion, chopped
2 cans {10 3/4 oz. each} condensed cream of chicken soup
1 pint sour cream
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
2 c. crushed corn flakes

Mix all ingredients and put into a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle more crushed cornflakes on top.
Pour an additional 1/4 c. melted butter over top.
Bake at 350° for 45 to 55 minutes.
