In 3-qt. saucepan, over medium heat, heat butterscotch pieces
with 1/4 c. water until melted, stirring constantly.
Stir in remaining ingredients; continue cooking until mixture is hot,
but not boiling, stirring occasionally.
Serve drink hot from pitcher or ladle drink into mugs.

HOT CHOCOLATE DRINK: Instead of butterscotch pieces,
use one 6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces.
