Preheat oven to 350F.
Grease and flour 8" square baking pan.
In a microwave-safe bowl or saucepan,
combine milk, margarine and salt, and heat
until hot but not scalded; set aside.
In a mixing bowl, beat eggs well then gradually
add the sugar and beat until well-mixed.
Pour in the hot milk and mix well.
Add the flour, baking powder and vanilla and mix well.
Pour batter into prepared pan and
bake for about 30 min. Serves 8.
