Irish Setter Stew


4-6 hot dogs
1 lg. potato, peeled
1 large onion
2-3 carrots
1 can chicken broth
1 bay leaf
parsley
thyme
salt and pepper

Cut hot dogs into 1" chunks.
Slice the potato, onion and carrots.
Place ingredients in casserole and cover them with chicken broth.
Add the seasonings.
Bake at 350°, 1 hour.
Serves 4.

Variations: This can be stewed on top of stove
about the same length of time.
Add some white wine after stew has been cooking
for 3/4 hour for better stew.
