Kate's Beer Bread


3 c. self-rising flour
2 tbs. sugar
12 oz can of beer
1/4 c. chopped onions
1/2 tsp. dill weed


In a large bowl, stir together flour and sugar.
Add can of beer all at once.
Fold the liquid and foam into the flour mixture.
Add onions and dill, mix well.
Put in any sized loaf pan,
and bake at 375° for about an hour.
Test doneness by turning loaf out on pan
and tapping bottom.
Bread is done if you get a hollow sound.
