Kathy's Apple Pie


5 lg. tart cooking apples, pared, cored and sliced
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. each cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg and cloves
1/2 c. flour
2 tbs. flour
1/2 c. butter
2 tbs. lemon juice
1/2 c. pecans, chopped
1 9" pie crust

Cook apples slightly and sprinkle with sugar.
Heat oven to 400°.
Mix apples, 1/2 c. sugar, 2 tbs. flour and spices.
Spoon into shell, sprinkle lemon juice over apples.
Mix 1/2 c. sugar with 1/2 c. flour;
cut in butter until crumbly.
Add nuts.
Sprinkle over apples.
Bake in 9" unbaked pie shell for 55 min.
