1 c. sugar
1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. milk
1 large can sliced peaches (do not drain)
or fresh or cherries(drain)
or blackberries(drain)
1 stick butter.
Mix sugar and flour in 9x13" pan,
slowly add milk.
Some small lumps are ok.
Mix well.
Pour fruit with syrup over mixture evenly.
Slice butter all around top of fruit and batter.
Bake 350F 50-60 min.
Delicious hot or cold.
