Nina's Beef and Biscuit Casserole


1 lb. ground beef
1 can tomato sauce
2 tsp. chili powder
1 can biscuits
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 1/2 c. grated cheese
1/2 c. sour cream

Brown beef, onion and green pepper; drain.
Stir in tomato sauce, chili powder and garlic salt.
Simmer.
Separate biscuits; pull each apart into two layers.
Press 10 layers over bottom of ungreased 9" square pan.
Combine 1/2 c. cheese, sour cream and eggs; mix well.

Stir sour cream mixture into meat mixture;
spoon over dough.
Arrange remaining biscuits on top;
sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Bake at 375°, 25-30 min.
