New York Push Cart Hot Dog Sauce |

2 large onions, sliced 1/4"
thick 2 tbs. vegetable oil 1/4 c. ketchup pinch of cinnamon 1/8 tsp. chili powder dash of hot sauce and salt 1 c. water 1 tbs. cornstarch Saute onions in oil on medium heat about 7 min.Mix in ketchup, cinnamon, chili powder, salt and hot sauce. Mix water and cornstarch. Add water mixture; bring to boil. Lower to simmer and cook 10 min. Put over hot dog in bun. Keeps well in refrigerator.
