Open Face Ham Sandwiches


1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. dried whole oregano
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
4 English Muffins, split
8 slices cooked ham (about 3/4 lb.)
8 slices tomato
fresh parsley

Combine cream cheese and butter; stir until smooth.
Stir in cheese, paprika, oregano and garlic powder.
Spread two-thirds of mixture evenly
over cut surface of English muffins.
top each with a ham and tomato slice.
Spoon remaining cheese mixture on center of each tomato slice.
Place on a baking sheet, and broil until golden brown.
Arrange sandwiches on platter, and garnish with parsley.
Yield: 8 servings.
