Parsley Cheese Rice


1/3 c. uncooked rice
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 c. minced parsley
1 c. grated Monterey Jack cheese
3/4 c. wheat germ
1/2 c. minced green onion
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. butter, melted
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 tsp. marjoram leaves, crushed
1/4 tsp. Pepper

Combine rice, water and salt in saucepan.
Heat to boiling. Reduce heat, cover and
simmer 25 min. until water is absorbed.
Remove from heat. Stir in remaining ingredients.
Spoon into 4-6 buttered (6-oz.) individual
baking dishes. Bake at 375F for 20 min.
until thoroughly heated.
