Angel Hair Pasta with
Tomato Cream Sauce



1 (27 oz) can garlic and herb spaghetti sauce
1 c. half and half
1 clove garlic, pressed
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
8 oz. angel hair pasta
2 tbs. finely chopped fresh basil
1/4 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Combine first 6 ingredients in a medium saucepan,
stirring with a wire whisk until blended.
Cook over very low heat until thoroughly heated
(do not boil).

Cook pasta according to package directions;
drain and return to pan. Add cream sauce,
basil and Parmesan cheese; toss gently.
Yield: 4 main dish servings or 8 side dish servings.
