Pat's Bourbon Balls

1/2 c. semisweet chocolate bits 1 1/2 c. conf. sugar 3 tbs. light corn syrup
1/3 c. bourbon whiskey 1 1/2 c. coarsley chopped pecans 3 3/4 c. crushed vanilla wafers
Melt chocolate bits over hot water. Sift confectioner's sugar into large bowl.
Stir corn syrup into whiskey and add mixture,
along with melted chocolate, to sugar. Mix in nuts and crushed waters, stirring thoroughly to blend.
Use your hands to shape candy into small balls, then dip balls into conf. sugar.
Store in airtight box.
