Patty's Mexican Wedding Cookies


1 c. butter
4 tbs. conf. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. water
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all purpose flour, sifted
1 c. pecans or walnuts, chopped

Cream butter and sugar.
Add water, vanilla, flour and walnuts.
Roll with hands into balls or crescents.
Put on cookie sheet and chill.
Bake at 325°, 20 min.
Roll in powdered sugar.
