PEACH COBBLER


2 c. fresh peaches, peeled,
pitted and sliced
1/2 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 c. flour
4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
3/4 c. sugar
Sweeten sliced peaches with 1/2 c. sugar.
Pour melted butter into bottom of
9x13" baking pan (or 9x13" stone baker).
Combine flour, salt, baking powder, milk
and the 3/4 c. sugar; beat to a smooth batter.
Pour batter over the melted butter
in the baking pan.
Top with peaches and bake at 375°
for 20 to 25 minutes until batter rises
to top and becomes crusty
with fruit bubbling underneath.
