Pepper and Cabbage Salad


3/4 c. white vinegar
1/3 c. sugar
1 tbs. mustard seed
2 tsp. Salt
1 lg. cabbage, cut into chunks
1 lg. green pepper, chopped
1 red onion, thinly sliced
2 (4 oz) cans pimento, drained and chopped

In medium saucepan over medium heat, combine vinegar, sugar,
] mustard seed and salt with 3/4 c. water.
Heat to boiling, then reduce heat and simmer,
uncovered, 5 min. Cool.

In large bowl, combine cooled vinegar mixture with cabbage,
green pepper, onion slices and pimento.
Cover; refrigerator; toss occasionally. Makes 8 servings.
