Pineapple Upside Down Cake


1/2 C brown sugar
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
6 slices pineapple
6 maraschino cherries
1/2 box yellow cake mix
1/3 C pineapple juice
Water

Mix brown sugar and melted butter in an 8" round glass cake dish.
Use COOK cycle and cook until a syrup is formed
(approximately 3 to 4 minutes).
Add pineapple and cherries.
Add the batter mixed according to the directions on the box,
using pineapple juice and water to give
the amount of liquid called for on the box.
Cover with a paper towel and bake 7 minutes.
Remove immediately from dish upon completion.
