Plantation Green Beans


2 (9 oz) pkg. French Style Green Beans
1/2 c. green onions, chopped
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 slices bacon, diced

Prepare beans as label directs but cook only 5 min.
In medium skillet over med.-high heat,
fry bacon until crisp; with slotted spoon,
remove bacon pieces and drain well on paper towels.
Cook green onions in bacon drippings until just tender.
Add pepper and green beans and cook over medium heat,
stirring occasionally, until tender. Stir in bacon pieces.
6 servings.
