Potato Puff Casserole


1 (8 oz) pkg. cream cheese, softened
5 c. hot mashed potatoes
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp. EACH: salt, paprika, pepper
2 tsp. chives OR 1/2 tsp. instant onion flakes
1 tbs. butter, melted

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 1 1/2 qt. casserole dish; set aside.
In a large bowl, combine cream cheese and potatoes.
Add egg, salt, paprika, pepper and chives.
Place in prepared dish. In a small saucepan, melt butter.
Brush over top of potato mixture.
Bake in preheated oven 40 min. Serves 10.
