Potato Tomato Bake


1 pkg. dry scalloped potato mix
1 8 oz. can (1 c.) tomato sauce
2 1/4 c. water
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. canned French fried onions

In Medium saucepan, blend the dry sauce mix from packaged potato mix
with the tomato sauce; add the water and green pepper.
Heat sauce mixture to boiling; add dried potatoes and stir until well combined.
Turn potato mixture into 1 1/2 qt. casserole. Bake, uncovered, in 400°, 30 min.
or till potatoes are tender and heated through.
Sprinkle french fried onions over casserole;
bake 3 min. more or until onions are heated through. 4 servings.
