Pots de Creme


2 c. half and half
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
2 tbs. sugar
3 1/3 c. semisweet chocolate morsels
3 tbs. amaretto or other almond-flavored liqueur
2 tsp. vanilla extract
pinch of salt
Garnishes: whipped cream, chocolate shavings

Combine first 3 ingredients in a heavy saucepan;
cook over medium heat 12 min. or until temperature reaches 160°.
Add chocolate morsels and next 3 ingredients,
stirring until smooth.
Spoon into individual serving containers; cover and chill.
Garnish, if desired. Yield: 5-6 servings.
