Pumpkin Bars


4 eggs
1 c. salad oil
2 c. sugar
1 (15 oz.) can pumpkin
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. EACH: ginger, cloves, nutmeg

FROSTING:
1 (6 oz.) package cream cheese
3/4 stick butter
1 tbs. cream or milk
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. powdered sugar

Mix eggs, salad oil, sugar and pumpkin in a large bowl.
Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt,
cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg and add to the above mixture.
Mix well and pour into greased and floured 12x18x1" cookie sheet.
Bake at 350º for 25-30 minutes. Cool.
Beat cream cheese, butter, vanilla and cream
or milk together until soft.
Add powdered sugar until correct consistency to spread.
Cut into 2x3" bars. Makes 36 bars.
