1 1/2 c. cornmeal 1 tbs. flour 1 tsp. sugar (to taste)
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
Mix together the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder,
salt, eggs and buttermilk.
Drop by large spoonfuls in shallow hot fat.
Fry until brown on both sides.
